The purpose of the network is to:

  • Raise awareness of the importance of volunteering within the Shire for all volunteer involving organisations, community groups and sporting clubs
  • Provide feedback and advise on issues which impact upon volunteering within the municipality
  • Promote and embed good practices and principles regarding volunteer development and management across the Shire
  • Support members through information sharing and mentoring to build on our collective skills, knowledge, experience, resources and expertise

We are welcoming of  new members to join this network to grow involvement from volunteer involving organisations across the Shire.
